Everything is editable
If you can see it, you can change it.
Text, dishes, hours, buttons, photographs. Hover any block and its boundary appears. The photograph is yours to replace, describe or hide, with no upload and no developer.
Walk in, or book ahead. The counter is kept for walk-ins, the room for the table.
Nothing is lost
Change anything. Undo everything.
Every edit is a record with who, when, and its own Undo. Take back one change, or the last one. Nothing happens silently, and nothing is ever overwritten.
Charcoal, mezze, and a room that fills by seven.
Undo takes back one change at a time, newest first.
A page is sections
Built from a system, not a template.
Every page is a stack of sections, and every word and picture on it is a field with a name. The Lens shows both: the structure, and the fields inside it. Paste any text and it tells you whether the page owns it.
A chef-led kitchen on Alder Street, open from five.
Quality
Good design should check itself.
Every colour pair is checked against the contrast standard on the server, so a site that is hard to read cannot ship. Move the colours and watch it decide.
